Alison Blain is a couture wedding and jewelry designer based in Wellington. The aim of the site was to connect Alison with clients and demonstrate that having a designer gown created from scratch was not an unattainable luxury.
We decided the best approach was a visual tour of Alison’s studio over a more conventional portfolio because Alison creates one off creations – the photos of lace being hand appliquéd into place, a vibrant box of green cotton reels or a delicate cap sleeve bound in satin are devised to inspire.
